Thank you Lance Bennett and Michael Thomas for these great pictures!

What you can see here is probably a pre-production prototype of Model 2385 with a black dial face! A picture of this version has been published in the first 1977 sales brochure but I beleive that it has never been sold until the unit shown on the pictures was offered on eBay.com by Lance Bennett in May 2016 for a very reasonable price and finally bought by lucky Michael Thomas. I would have bought it right away but unfortunately it was only offered for local pick up in California :-(

Was sie hier sehen, ist wahrscheinlich ein Vorserien-Prototyp des Model 2385 mit schwarzen Anzeigen. Im ersten Verkaufsprospekt von 1977 wurde diese Version im Bild gezeigt. Trotzdem glaube ich, dass sie offiziell nie verkauft wurde, bis das abgebildete Exemplar im Mai 2016 von Lance Bennett aus Californien auf eBay.com zu einem sehr fairen Preis angeboten und vom glücklichen Michael Thomas erworben wurde. Ich hätte sofort zugeschlagen aber leider richtete sich das Angebot nur an Selbstabholer :-(
