The front panel used for the reconstruction of this unit was taken from a normal
Model 2500. Because of the black scope panel there is no lettering of the scope
adjustment knobs visible. Probably this lettering was white on the glass of the original face!

This picture shows how this Model 2500 looked as Webb Collart received it.
Nearly every part of importance was missing, exept the parts that prooved
that there was indeed a Model 2500 with a black dial face.

The black scope panel is another part that prooves the authenticity of this receiver.

Instead of a serial number there is only a sticker with a kind of inventory number.
